Joining The New Team Member Joining Process at the Ripple Group is the first step wherein the new team member experiences his or her first formal contact with the Ripple Group. The main purpose is that all the company requirements for a new joiner to start work on joining are accomplished. The process outlines the key tasks to be performed by the New Team Member and also by related departments. The process checks and verifies the new team members personal and professional information /data. IT triggers the allotment/creation of the necessary requirements like the Employee Master File, ID, mobile number, Ripple Shirts, Payroll info etc.,
The process is followed whenever a new candidate joins the Ripple Family. A checklist is maintained to monitor and complete the necessary activities within a time frame.
Reporting The joining of a new Team Member is completed when the joining is verified and a report is submitted to the HR and acknowledged. The most important aspect is that the concerned Team, Team leader along with the other concerned departments is communicated. Reporting is concluded through a formal mail announcing the joining of the new Team Member.
Personnel Records & Privacy Every team member is bound to submit their documents either on the day of joining or within a week of joining failing which their salary for the month would not be processed. Personnel files are the property of Ripple Group and access to the information is restricted. Team Members who wish to review their own file should contact their manager or Human Resources Representative with reasonable advance notice, the team member may review his/her personnel file in Company’s office and in the presence of their manager or Human Resources Representative. Team member’s records maintained by the company will contain only information that is relevant and necessary to meet various legal requirements and to ensure efficient human resource administration. Please Inform the Human Resources Department of changes in personal data and the person to be notified in case of emergency. Up to date records have to be maintained for emergencies and benefit plans in the Ripple Group. It is the responsibility of each team member to promptly notify their manager or Human Resource Department of any changes in personnel data such as: • Mailing address • Telephone numbers • Name and number of dependents and • Individuals to be contacted in the event of an emergency.
Team Member’s personnel data should be accurate and current at all times.
Induction The next important step for a new Team Member is the Induction. The Induction process at the Ripple Group is designed in such a way as to provide the newly joined team member with the information he/she needs to function comfortably and effectively in the organization. The key objective of the various steps in the Induction process are to ensure the newly joined team member has a good understanding of the business of the Ripple Group , the different business entities and the key persons. Not only the above the Induction also aims that the newly joined team member understands and assimilates the culture, mission, vision and objectives of the Ripple Group. Most importantly the Values at the Ripple Group FIRE are driven and impressed upon. Among the other things key HR policies and procedures like Leave, Travel, Probation, Performance Appraisal etc. are covered during the Induction. General Office / Work Place Rules & Regulations, Grievance and Disciplinary procedures are also discussed. This apart the New Team members will have on the job Induction/Training in their respective departments. The Sales and The Technical team have their own Specific Induction cum Training Programs which are conducted at regular intervals for the New Team Members. The Ripple Orientation Induction Program (ROI) for the Sales Team and the Advanced Technical Training (ATT) are rigorous programs to introduce and ensure the Sales and the Technical teams have a solid understanding of the Products and Services we are into. These Programs helps the Team Members to go into the market fully informed about the products & services.
