Learning and Development The Ripple Group strongly beliefs in comprehensive growth of Team Members along with career growth. Team Members are encouraged to upgrade their skills, attitude and knowledge through various opportunities and means. The key to superior growth is the continuous enhancement of the capabilities of the team members to assume higher responsibilities and achieve growth.
Major task of the Learning and Development for a Team Member especially a new joiner is done on the job by the Team Leader. Every Team Member’s Training, Learning & Development will be tracked and monitored by the Human Resources Department and evaluated at regular intervals. Team Members can accomplish their mandated tasks through Ripple In-house training programs or External training programs after prior approval.
The areas of training, learning and development are identified at a team and individual level. The specific areas for the Training Needs Analysis are derived from multiple avenues which include the business strategy, plans & goals, team functional, technical and managerial skills & knowledge requirement, Team leaders & Team Members individual development requirement, Performance Appraisals etc. Special attention will be provided for business/project needs based training/learning requirement’s as sought by the respective departments or Team Leads.
Another key aspect of the Learning and Development agenda is to provide a personalized mentoring, counseling, and coaching to high potential team members to prepare them for greater leadership roles and responsibilities. The Human Resources Team will work on identify various training programs and identify team members to attend such programs Team members are also encouraged to pursue further training on their own, with prior approval for funds and time off. Another agenda for the Ripple Group in the learning and Development space is develop in house capabilities in trainers and faculties. Team Members are encouraged to volunteer as trainers & faculty in the relevant areas.
